An EV charger is a high, long-duration load circuit — correct cable cross-section, protection and residual-current protection are key. I use a dedicated circuit, an MCB and a type B RCD (or A + DC detection) depending on the charger, as required for safety and warranty.
I match the power to the installation and the car (single- or three-phase), with dynamic load management (DLM) where needed. Installation is carried out by a licensed SEP electrician — a requirement for this type of work.
What it means for you
Instead of worrying whether the old installation can handle charging the car every day — you get a separate, safe circuit with the right protection. You charge overnight, in the garage, with no risk of overheating and no loss of the charger warranty. At the end you get a protocol with measurements you can show an insurer or when selling the house.

How we work, step by step
- 1
Inspection / photos
I check the supply, board and cable route. I can give an initial quote from photos and a description too.
- 2
Selection and quote
I recommend the charger, power and variant (1/3-phase, DLM, PV integration). Clear price, no surprises.
- 3
Circuit installation
Dedicated cable, MCB and type B RCD, wallbox mounted on a wall or stand.
- 4
Test and protocol
Configuration, as-built measurements and a protocol. I show you how to charge safely.

FAQ
How much does a wallbox install cost in Wrocław?+
Typically 1500–2500 PLN with a 10–20 m cable and full protection; more in multi-family buildings. Exact after inspection/photos.
Is a type B RCD required?+
Depends on the charger — if the wallbox has no built-in DC detection, a type B RCD is used. I follow the device documentation.
